About Great Northern Farms
Our Story
Great Northern Farms is a 6 generation farm, established in 1901, with deep roots to the local community. Our property located on County Road 160 between Charlestown and Henryville in Clark County Indiana, is family owned and operated. We have a cow-calf operation with Chiangus, from which we sell whole and half sides of beef along with individual frozen cuts of beef. We also sell breeding bulls and heifers. We chose the Chiangus breed for the tenderness and leanness of the meat and calving ease of the animal. Our hope is to provide a great quality product while doing what we love.

Calves used for freezer beef are hormone free and grain fed for at least 6 months to provide our customers with a flavorful beef experience.
